This traditional proverb means “good things come in small packages,” and seems to fit
Korea perfectly. As a small East-Asian nation with growing status in the world, Korea has
much to offer. We are proud of the many Koreans who are doing their best in their chosen
field. Their hard work is paying off. It is perhaps thanks to them that you have become
interested in Korea and in learning the Korean language. Although it may be a challenging
tongue for some, your passion for Korean culture and language too will pay off.
